In 1965, the inaugural Calvary Chapel was established in Costa Mesa, California, as a modest non-denominational congregation comprising 25 parishioners under the leadership of Pastor Chuck Smith. Over time, the congregation flourished, and today, Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa serves as the spiritual home for approximately 30,000 adherents.
